Some Arden’s Day readers from Maine came out to our recent JDRF fundraiser in central NJ.  Granted they were already in northern New Jersey visiting with family but they definitely win the prize for longest distance travelled.

From left to right: Julia (type I), Julia’s mom Holly, Barbara, Julia’s Grandmom, Ava the little sister and Julia’s Aunt Pat.

When I met Barbara in person the day of the fundraiser she told me how much Arden’s Day means to her family. I’ll keep that conversation private, just for me, but I do want to say this, “I am so happy that this site is helping people, the knowledge that sharing Arden’s day is helping other children makes all of this a little more tolerable”.

Thanks for coming Julia!  I hope you had a great time, Arden loved meeting you.

Scott,

Thank you for including us in your web-site.  To be included in a web-site that means ever so much to us is such an honor.  It touches us so deeply when we read about similar experiences in caring for our precious girls.

We did a lot of fun activities while visiting family in N.J.  However, Julia said her favorite was your Bowling Fundraiser and meeting Arden.  Again, I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for both your web-site and for the numerous fundraisers you have for JDRF.

Sincerely,
Barbara
